Finance Manager

Hours: 3 days per week

Salary: £38,000 FTE, pro rata (£22,800 actual)

Team: Senior Leadership Team

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial management - management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, payroll

• Own Till and ordering systems for our trading and commercial activities

• Own financial systems integration with Xero accounting system

• Lead statutory and SORP-compliant reporting, working with external auditors

• Own Xero setup, including fund accounting by project and funding source

• Maintain robust financial controls appropriate to a charity of this size

• Provide clear financial insight to the CEO, senior leadership team, and board

Person specification

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience

• Charity or not-for-profit finance experience, including SORP accounting

• Strong working knowledge of Xero and integration of POS and financial systems integration

• Comfortable working independently across 3 days with senior-level accountability

• Experience of a charity restructure or organisational transition desirable
