We asked Tammy a few questions in August 2023 to get to know her better:
How long have you worked at The Feed?
I have worked for The Feed for almost 4 years.
Tell us about your role
My job role has changed many times due to covid and the expansion of The Feed.
I started as the Chef Mentor when we just had one venue which was both a café and home to our catering business on Prince of Wales Road. I am now the manager of that venue which, since March 2023, is focused solely on our catering. It's where me and my busy team of five colleagues prepare all the food for our catering clients. We also supply three of our cafés with pastries and cakes too.
What do you like about the role?
What I love about my role is how many hats I can wear in a day from buttering bread to making our amazing cakes, helping clients plan their large events and then managing my fantastic team. There is always so much to do, and I feel supported from everyone I work with, even our CEO is happy to help with the deliveries.
What's your favourite food that we make?
My favourite food we offer, especially at the moment, is our new brownie box with 6 different brownie flavours (see photo below) plus it looks like a box of chocolates when we pack it.
