February half-term fun at Waterloo Park
We're pleased to have lots of events confirmed for the upcoming half-term week and you can see details below.
Our café will be open as usual every day from 8.30am to 4.00pm serving a wide choice of delicious food and drinks. We're a venue for all the family with toys and books in our kids corner, a children's menu, highchairs and dogs are welcome too.
Saturday 17 Feb - Novice to Ninja martial arts session, 10.00-11.30am
A fun, free event in the Community Room above the café. Suitable for children from age 7 upwards. This is a non-contact session and no experience is needed. It is run by karate black belt instructor Steve Gaskin. Only 20 places available, book by email to waterloo@thefeed.org.uk - deadline to book 9am, 15 Feb.
Sunday 18 Feb - Mind, Body, Spirit & Crafts Fair, 10.00-3.00
This is being by Orion Events in the Community Room above the café. Entry is free. Any queries to info@orionevents.co.uk
Monday 19 Feb - Kids Craft event, 1.00-3.30pm
This event is kindly run by the Friends of Waterloo Park in the Community Room above the café. No need to book and art materials are provided. Pay what you can afford for this event.
Wednesday 21 Feb - Support for the Cost of Living Crisis, 10.00am - 3.00pm
Lots of organisations will be present in the Community Room above the café to provide advice on money issues, debt, your bills, benefits, wellbeing and more. Drop in any time, no need to book.
Wednesday 21 Feb - Biscuit decorating, 10.00am - 12.00pm
This will be in the main café and is run by the Friends of Waterloo Park. You'll be able to decorate a heart-shaped biscuit and give it to someone you love as belated Valentine's Day gift. It is free and there's no need to book.
Thursday 22 Feb - Evie's Owls, 2.00-4.00pm
Yes, real owls will be visiting us in the Community Room above the café. Learn about the owls, we sure you'll have a hoot! This is free and no need to book.
