"The Power of Food" video

We are delighted to share this short video about the work we do at our Social Supermarket and Community Café on Hall Road in Norwich.

You'll see the different ways in which we use the power of food to help people eat well, live well and connect to others in their local community. Everyone deserves this.

The film was kindly created for us by Morgan Sindall Construction who are supporting The Feed in 2024. Here's the thoughts of Alister Broadberry, Area Director at Morgan Sindall Construction:

"Spending time with The Feed and seeing the amazing, often unseen, work they do for people in our community is humbling. It is absolutely vital work and makes such a difference to people’s lives – that’s why our Norfolk staff voted for The Feed as our charity of the year for 2024, and we’re doing a host of events to raise as much money to help them to continue doing this hugely important work.”

A statistic in the film mentions how Norfolk has the highest rate of malnutrition in England. This was taken from a report by Future Health in October 2023 titled "Hiding in Plain Sight".
