What a year of progress!
We're pleased to share with you our Impact Report for 2021-22, a document explaining the many ways we have been delivering our mission to motivate people to prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness in Norwich.
Our CEO, Lucy Parish, explains: "It has been a brilliant and busy year for The Feed and because of the hard work of our fantastic and dedicated team, our profile has been raised and we are well respected by the people we support, amongst our peers, other support services and the public. I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved and am excited to tell you about it in our report. You can read the full version below, but some of our highlights for the year to March 2022 include:
opening four new cafés which grows our revenue significantly and makes us less dependent on external sources of income
providing more than 1,300 hours of work experience to people which gives them improved confidence, new skills and clarity on their next steps towards employment
delivering 108 hours of group sessions for women, improving their wellbeing, reducing isolation and increasing motivation
providing nearly 1,500 hours of voluntary work which benefits people we support and the volunteers themselves
serving 3,255 hot meals to rough sleepers and other vulnerable groups at safe indoor venues
distributing 19,155kg of food to people struggling to afford it. Much of this food was saved from being wasted."
