Celebrating our graduates!

We held a celebration event for the latest group of people who have graduated from our Supported Work Experience programme.

Each of the group have been working alongside our team in our catering business and cafés to learn new skills and build their confidence. This gives them a stronger foundation to move forward and look for the job they want.

Our Community Room above our Waterloo Park café was the perfect venue on a summer's day to recognise the group's achievements. Certificates were presented to each of them and some of the group also received Food Hygiene Level 2 recognition which they had achieved as part of our programme. Our CEO, Lucy Parish, and the Sheriff of Norwich, Caroline Jarrold, both spoke warmly about the achievements and highlighted some of the skills and personal qualities which our team had seen each of the participants demonstrate.

The graduates are now working with our Opportunities Coaches to plan their next steps whether that be into employment, training or education. It is a completely person centred approach, focussing on the individual's strengths and aspirations for a future in which they thrive.
