At the heart of what we do is helping people along their journey to find the job they want.
Dariusz is one such person. He decided to take part in our Supported Work Experience programme which gives people a chance to learn alongside our team in our cafés and catering business. We're happy to tailor the programme to suit each person and for Dariusz this meant he completed short shifts over a longer period of time. The roles he did were also adapted to suit his skills and support needs. This allowed him to complete the programme and achieve his graduation with us.
During his 1:1 sessions we have defined his employment profile, given guidance around applications, coached him on interview skills, referred him to a work placement and worked collaboratively with other support agencies. Now we are reaching out to local employers to find Dariusz the right opportunity for sustainable employment.
