Great support from Canaries fans

At Saturday's match between Norwich City and Burnley, the Canaries Trust group organised support for our Social Supermarket.
Fans attending the game were asked to bring food to the drop off point - essential items such as tins, pasta pots, shower gel and sanitary items. There was an option to make a monetary donation too. The group promoted this across social media and with several media interviews to ensure fellow Canaries were aware.
We are delighted that so many fans contributed and in total there were around seven large trays of food and over £500 donated. This will go directly to our supermarket, less than a mile from Carrow Road, where we are supporting nearly 2,000 households in the city affected by the cost of living crisis.
If you would like to contribute you can make a donation here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/feedwinter
A £5 donation would enable us to buy the equivalent of £20 food thanks to the supportive partners we are working with in the food sector.
We are very grateful to both the Canaries Trust and Norwich City for making this happen.
