We've been crowned Small Business of the Year!
At last week's Norfolk Business Awards we received the award for Small Business of the Year sponsored by UPP.
Our CEO, Lucy Parish, gave her reaction "This award recognises the hard work of our staff team and volunteers, as well as the many business partners and supporters who collaborate with us. It also shines a light on the need for our work to prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness in Norwich. Sadly, we expect more people in Norwich to needs us in the coming months and we will scale up to help as many as possible. We will support people into employment through work experience in our cafés and provide food to those unable to afford it from our Social Supermarket."
The event, held at the Norfolk Showground, saw ten awards given out and many others recognised as finalists. We were pleased to see Cornwall Insight, who have chosen us as their charity of the year, pick up the Outstanding Achievement award.
With 600 guests in attendance it was a celebration of the county's businesses and the people behind them.
