Support at the feed

We are a Norwich-based social enterprise providing supported work experience placements for adults who face barriers to employment.

The work experience is within our café and catering enterprise business and there are various roles that you can try.

You do not have to be interested in working in catering and hospitality as you will learn many different practical skills that you can use in other job roles. We aim to help you build your confidence, motivation and self esteem in our positive learning environment.

You will have the opportunity to take your Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate if this is something that interests you. Alternatively we will help you to look for other relevant training opportunities.

You will be able to work with one of our Opportunity Coaches on a one to one coaching basis. They will help you to search for opportunities, whether it be training, employment, volunteering or other valuable work placements. They will help you to set goals for the future, identify your strengths and you can work together to plan and implement your next steps.

There will be an opportunity to take part in workshops and external visits.

All work experience is based at 78-80 Prince of Wales Road, Norwich NR1 1NJ

Lunch will be provided every day you are with us.

Our work experience is tailored to each individual so we can make sure it meets your needs. If you are interested in finding out more, please call us on 01603 850447 or send an email to

We are excited to invite you to join us for our weekly sessions to help build your confidence, self-esteem, employability skills and wellbeing.

Run by women for women only, our sessions offer you the opportunity to step outside of your daily routine and spend time in a safe space, learning new skills and making new friends.

We will help you to identify your strengths and give you the confidence to tell people about them.

The main location for the sessions will be at The Feed Café 78-80 Prince of Wales Road, Norwich and you will also get the opportunity to visit other safe venues nearby during the course.
