Together we are working in conjunction with Norwich City Council.

Vision – All Norwich residents are able to access nutritious food

  1. Skills and Knowledge – knowing what is a healthy diet and how to prepare tasty and nutritious meal
  2. Food waste – reducing waste by utilising surplus from supermarkets, caterers and growers
  3. Raising awareness of and increasing access to support services
  4. Identify gaps in provision of food and services, working with partners to find ways to fill them

Please can you help?

The food provider survey is for any group or organisation that offers/provides food/meals to people in need.  This is to gather information on what they offer, when and where to map provision across the City and also to gain knowledge on which food retailers are donating their waste/surplus food to food providers.

Please download this survey by clicking here.

If you offer food please could you take the time to complete the food provider survey and return it to or you can drop it off at The Feed.

The other survey, The FIES survey is to be completed by people who come along to receive food/meals  It doesn’t ask anything too intrusive and can be anonymous but seeks to understand and evidence how Norwich people are being affected by food poverty or at risk of it.

Please download the FIES survey by clicking here.

Please could you ask people who attend your events/meals/sessions to complete this, paper copies can be provided so if printing is an issue just let me know. We can collect the completed forms just let us know when they are ready.

Please can you aim to complete the surveys by the end of February!

Please help us create a Food Action Plan for Norwich to help us be a sustainable food city.

To help us create the plan please come to our event on Tuesday 30 April 2019, 14:00 – 16:00.
